Life is short…
Posted: May 24th, 2006 | Author: admin | Filed under: General | Comments OffJust think about it. How old is the earth? Tens of thousands or even millions of years old. The life span of a person is just a very small fraction of that!!! I want my life to count for somthing. Just as many others do… I want to be remembered. Why is that? It’s part of us as humans, but I’m not sure why exactly.
This past Saturday, as some of you know, a friend passed away. Antwan is missed by many and i am very sad at his passing. The funeral will be this coming Saturday. Below is a news report of what happened.

CROWN POINT | Two Gary men were killed and a third was in critical condition following an early evening accident Saturday on Interstate 65 about three miles south of the Crown Point exit.
Antwan N. Williams, 22, and Alvin L.P. Henry, Jr., 21, both of Gary, were pronounced dead at the scene following the accident at 7:10 p.m.
The driver of a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Cordale J. Franklin, 20, of Gary, remained in critical condition Sunday afternoon at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill. He suffered head and internal injuries.
Franklin was northbound on I-65 at a high rate of speed and was weaving in and out of traffic when he lost control of the car, according to Indiana State Police.
Police said the Mitsubishi spun out of control, into a grassy median and then into the southbound lanes of the interstate, where it collided with a semitrailer.
Henry, who was a passenger in the rear seat of the car, was ejected. He and Williams, a passenger in the front seat, suffered massive head and internal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene by Lake County coroner's personnel.
Franklin was first taken to St. Anthony Medical Center in Crown Point, but later was airlifted to Christ Hospital.
The driver of the Freightliner semitrailer, Brenda Lee Williams, 49, of Devine, Texas, was not injured in the accident.
The southbound lanes of I-65 was reopened to traffic about 10:15 p.m.
