my Speedometer died.

Posted: June 27th, 2005 | Author: admin | Filed under: Personal News | Comments Off

While on my way to Bible study yesterday my speedometer died. idk what happened. i don’t know what fried. I was just driving along when one mement i was going 55mph and the next thing i know my speedometer pointed to the zero, but i handn’t slowed down at all. This is honestly the oldest most troublesome car i have ever had, but it’s got personality. *laughs* hopfully i can get it fixed, but if not i’ll just have to stick with the flow of traffic.

always learning,
-joel

okay if you have time, crawl underneath your car (when it’s cool). Your speedometer cable fruns from your transmission to your dash, try to follow the bast you can and see if it is broken, or badly pinched somewhere. Also make sure that it is attatched to the trani, and the dash (your dash is easier to take a apart than you think. just keep the srews in one spot. That’s all i have for that.

well, that’s just wonderful… not really. just be careful on those roads that no one is on, and the speed traps! just think only another, what, month or so, and you won’t have to worry about a car for a while! yes, i’m learning to let go… lol

so anyway… besides all the laughing and the incredibly fun advice about all the ‘mechanics’ of the thing, it has been a fun post! hope you’re having fun at cornerstone!! bring me back a story or two!
